Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, will host a webinar exploring how NXP Semiconductors' i.MX 95 processor and ARA240™ Discrete Neural Processing Unit (DNPU) enable advanced generative AI workloads directly at the edge.

Presented by Don Gunn, Processor Specialist with Future Intelligent Solutions (FIS), the session will begin with an overview of NXP's processor roadmap and key developments in the company's next-generation AI and edge computing strategy. Attendees will also be introduced to the ARA240, a power-efficient, high-performance AI accelerator designed to bring advanced artificial intelligence capabilities to embedded and edge applications.

The webinar will explore how the ARA240 pairs with NXP's i.MX 8M Plus and i.MX 95 processors, along with the AI tools, software, and frameworks NXP is developing to support complete AI-based solutions and accelerate deployment.

Through live demonstrations, Don will showcase a Large Language Model (LLM) and a Vision Language Model (VLM) running on the ARA240 DNPU. Attendees will see real-time video understanding, natural language search, vision-language AI, and customized AI models operating locally without reliance on the cloud.

As AI applications become more demanding, running advanced workloads at the edge can help organizations pursue faster insights while supporting privacy, security, and reliability. The webinar will demonstrate how AI acceleration and hardware security can support smarter, safer, and more efficient edge applications across a wide range of industries.

Embedded systems engineers, AI developers, and technology professionals are invited to learn how NXP's edge AI technologies can help enable the next generation of intelligent devices.
