The Southwest’s largest audio visual integrator CCS, celebrated its 20th anniversary with a national sales summit at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale September 21-23.

The 20th anniversary event hosted at Talking Stick Resort, showcased CCS’ A/V technical systems integration in the CCS-designed award-winning Professional Poker Room – the largest installation of its kind in Arizona – which is the technological centerpiece of the 240,000-square-foot casino gaming area at the new resort.

The national sales summit brought together more than 300 attendees, including customers from its projects with Maricopa County, American Express and Steptoe and Johnson; the nation’s top A/V manufacturers including Panasonic, EPSON, NEC and SMART Technologies; as well as CCS partners from the company’s offices located in 13 states throughout the U.S.

Founder and CEO of CCS,John Godbout stated, “It was great to see so many of our partners – from customers and manufacturers to colleagues from across the country – all together at Talking Stick Resort. We’re thankful for their support throughout the last two decades as we wouldn’t be here without them.”

In addition to its 20-year milestone, CCS won a coveted 2011 ProAV Spotlight Award in the Casino A/V Project Category for its work on Talking Stick Resort. The Spotlight Awards recognize the best projects by the nation’s top A/V integrators.

Godbout launched CCS in 1991 with his wife, Beth, a few clients and a little sweat equity. After giving up his 20+ year sales job with IBM, he found the focus of the new business would be A/V after realizing people were more interested in the flat panel projector he was using during his presentation than the software he was trying to sell them. Their operation has expanded throughout Arizona and created a sales network with offices located in 13 states and annual revenue in excess of $105 million.
