Victus Restaurants is passionate about serving great food in Harrogate, and as often as possible, ingredients which are locally sourced are used in Victus food.
Recently the team at Victus Restaurants wrote a letter to let their customers know about the provenance of their ingredients.
Dear Victus Customers,
We would like to share our secrets of our lovely fresh food.
We source all our beef, chicken and bacon from our good friend Keith, down the road at Addyman's Butchers.
Milk and cream comes from JG Bellerby's Manor Dairy Farm in Harrogate, even our lovely free range eggs come from this happy place.
We are also very lucky to have a fantastic greengrocer just next door, where we get our daily fresh veg, so thank you Lowther's Greengrocers.
Of course we sell our lovely Harrogate Spring Water, as if we would sell anything else!
We only use the best Union coffee beans, which are organic, Fairtrade and hand roasted in the UK. Freshly ground each time you make a selection from the hot drink menu. We even use the same fantastic blend for our 99p Filter Coffee.
So rest assured, our Victus friends, everything you eat with us is not only delicious but you can trust it comes from good, happy places.

Victus Restaurants Harrogate Local Produce Suppliers
Addyman's Butchers is Harrogate's preferred location for locally produced meat products. They pride themselves on their products, which are always fresh and produced on site by fully trained butchers. They supply lovely, decent cuts of meat.
JG Bellerby's Manor Dairy Farm in Harrogate supplies delicious, fresh milk, cream and free range eggs.
Lowther's Greengrocers supplies Victus Restaurants Harrogate with lovely fresh vegetables.
Harrogate Spring Water
During the 1920s Harrogate was the UK's biggest exporter of mineral water, but by the 1970s the industry almost disappeared. However in May 2002 it was revived again, and today Harrogate Spring Water is sourced in the town centre. Here there are water bearing rocks which are about forty five metres below ground. It has a lovely, slightly sweet taste and has a well balanced mineral content.
