At Home Medical [http://www.athomemedical.com] has ushered in the next generation of its' medical supply delivery business with the launch of a new web site geared specifically for customers who use wheelchairs, continence care, urology, ostomy, skin care and wound care products. The web site includes a new brand design for the mail order provider, as well as connection points to the company's tremendously popular motivational program, the iPush Foundation.

For customers, the At Home Medical web site features easy navigation with separate sections for specific product categories and name brands. With their new sales portal, At Home Medical will be offering Deals of the Day, customer loyalty programs and weekly specials that are emailed to newsletter subscribers.

"I wanted to create an avenue that gives people the products, information and resources they need," said Chris Malcom, vice president of At Home Medical Products, a provider specializing in urological, incontinence, ostomy, personal care and skin care supplies.

The connection that At Home Medical has with their customers is deeply personal for Malcom. A wheelchair user for 23 years, Malcom is a C-7 quadriplegic who was paralyzed in a car accident in his 20s.

That's why the social tab on AHM's web site connects customers with the iPush Foundation's blog site that contains a wide variety of free resources, social networking and lifestyle news for people who use wheelchairs.

The foundation's website, http://www.ipush.org, offers articles and resources on a variety of topics like accessible travel, adaptive sports and parenting. iPush also offers wheelchair users a place to connect with new friends via social media. The organization has gained more than 7000 followers after publishing the iPush Facebook page less than 90 days ago.

At Home Medical's web site and social media programs were designed and launched with assistance from Get Social Consulting, a digital marketing firm that specializes in creating healthcare communities online for home medical equipment providers and medical device manufacturers. "We are thrilled to hear so many positive comments from existing At Home Medical customers who are enjoying their new shopping and social experiences," Get Social president Lisa Wells adds.
