LUXEON T, the next generation illumination grade LED, is tested and specified at 85°C to ensure application performance with tight color control, within 3 Step MacAdam Ellipse. Optimized for efficacy and supported by the industry leading forward voltage and the lowest thermal resistance, LUXEON T enables designers to achieve the highest possible system efficacy and the flexibility to reduce the number of emitters, all without compromising on high color rendering (CRI) across the full Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) range from 2700K to 5700K.

LUXEON T is available in six different CCTs, 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K and 5700K all specified at high-CRI, 80 minimum. In addition to the market leading 80 CRI range, LUXEON T is available with 95 typical CRI and exceptional red rendering (R9) of 90, making it ideal for the professional lighting market. To enable system level performance improvements in outdoor and industrial applications including high bay, street and roadway lighting, LUXEON T is also extended to the 70 CRI range.

Delivering color consistency, ensuring in-application performance with superior efficacy and light output, LUXEON T is ideal for a variety of applications, including lamps, downlights, indoor/outdoor, high bay, low bay, and architectural lighting.

LUXEON S is the second generation illumination grade multichip emitter which offers twice the lumen density of existing solutions, an R9 value that exceeds 80 and has 50% better Color Over Angle (COA) variation over existing solutions. Designed for retail, architectural and entertainment applications, LUXEON S emitters deliver up to 50 lumens per square millimeter and a high light output of up to 8000 lumens in narrow beams with sharp shadows.

With LUXEON S, luminaire designers have more flexibility and can achieve beam angles in the 8° range in a compact design, with light levels that rival traditional CDM light sources. The new emitters feature correlated color temperatures of 2700K and 3000K with a CRI of 80 or 90, as well as CCTs of 3500K, 4000K and 5000K at CRI of 80. In the 90 CRI products, R9 value exceeds 80, making them ideal for applications requiring exceptional color renderings such as in premium retail and museum applications.
